The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Middle Tennessee Chapter is the premier local network for energy professionals dedicated to advancing the field of energy efficiency, sustainability, and management across Metro Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Our Mission and Focus
As a local chapter of the international Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), our mission is to shape the future of the energy industry in our region by fostering a community of engaged, knowledgeable, and certified professionals.
Our members are a diverse group of energy professionals from across manufacturing, commercial and residential, construction, utilities, and many other industries. Our members include Certified Energy Managers (CEMs), facilities engineers, building managers, consultants, professional engineers, and students who are passionate about creating an efficient, affordable, and sustainable energy future.
What We Do
We are committed to the professional development and networking of our members through:

Continuing Education: We provide engaging material and presentations focused on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Many of our monthly meetings offer Professional Development Hours (PDHs) to help members maintain their certifications and stay current in the field.

Networking and Collaboration: We host monthly meetings in the Nashville area (usually 2nd Thursday of the month) and plan networking events designed to grow your professional network and facilitate the exchange of ideas and technology among local peers.

Site Tours and Field Experience: We coordinate plant tours and site visits across Middle Tennessee, offering members a firsthand look at cutting-edge energy projects and facilities.

Industry Advancement: We actively contribute to the future of our industry by providing scholarships for students in energy-related fields at area universities. (As noted on our Golf Scramble page, your support contributes directly to these vital scholarships.)
